AI - Adamantly Ignorant:P

i'm kidding, i'm kidding. it's been going around, you know. AI's are actually cool. you know why? well, because majority of the movies that i've watched that has something to do(even remotely, mind you) with robots always ends with either the robots become super-smart and came up with an awesome thought-process that enabled them to decide that they should keep humanity safe by ruling over them with an iron fist OR they all die a very metal-clanking death.

some of the awesome-est robots can be found in the age old saga of (dun dun dunnn..) starwars! there's.. R2D2 and that.. uh.. golden dude with a gay-ish personality. WHAT? i'm a bit of a sexist, yeah. but i have gay friends, too. well, atleast i think they're gay.:P oh! it's C3PO! i almost forgot.

aanyway. next in line would be that trashcan thing that has feet? yeah. i dunno what those things are called, but they look like trashcans.

and the most famous and quite comical of all, of course, would be the droids! why? well, i think they're comical. but i think storm troopers are comical, too. if they were droids, i don't think this :

would happen. thank god Lucas thought about the troopers being clones. this actually happened in the movie. check it if you don't believe! i actually did and laughed my ass off the whole night.

anyway. AIs have been around for at least a century(well, decent AIs.). they've been going where no man has ever been: Mars, and other nooks and crannies that our grubby hands and bodies can't seem to go or fit.

what's awesome-er about droids, AIs and such is the fact that they're not that gullible, unlike this stormtrooper:

see? SEE?! I TOLD YOU! imagine if you can command someone just like that. like..

me: "you will get a 5.0"

generic prof: "you will get a 5.0"

IMAGINE THAT! well anyway.

as technology advances, it's an obvious fact that AIs will be more... human-like. but of course, they can never be human; so far. what separates us humans, mortal and meek, from them, the maniacal processing monsters of doom, is that WE can think for ourselves. we don't need no program to run us and give us commands every now and then. them, even though they're IMBA, they have to follow a directive. like,

if "bumped on wall"
{ "destroy wall" OR "destroy wall" }

something like that. but it's clear and without a doubt that humans and robots can and will co-exist in the near future. robots like WALL-E would be needed soon, like, for cleaning up stuff? gosh, we gotta have those here in the Phillies. seriously. by a very long shot, highly developed AIs would be of high value for us, since it can do specific tasks that most of its kind won't be able to.

hopefully, in the near future, our race can create a line of robots to serve us, then only to take over us and make us their slaves. kidding. sci-fi and all thrown away, AIs would be one of the most reliable resource we can acquire in the future, since our planet's almost at its limits, and we'll need all the help we can get to try and turn it back into the way it was, for our sake.
